I get asked this question a lot when I talk about the PlayStation 4 and how to connect to the internet. I’ve tried everything from the Wireless N to the USB to the Ethernet. It’s just not connecting. I have no idea what is wrong and I don’t want to find out, so I try to figure out why.
I know the internet is supposed to be a public space and I am sure everyone has their own internet connection, but why don’t most of us get internet on our consoles? I mean I know some people connect and some don’t, but if you look at my console, I can connect and it shows up in my “internet” settings, but the internet is not working.
You can try turning off your Wi-Fi connection and then reconnecting. Sometimes that helps. Other times it doesn’t. If you have a router, try a different Wi-Fi signal from the one that your router has. Sometimes that helps, sometimes not. For a new gaming console, try an alternative Wi-Fi signal. I still hope that someone has the time to fix the Xbox 360 version of our game, but I’m not holding my breath. While I’m happy that my Xbox 360 is still in pretty good shape, I’m not gonna hold my breath for it to get updated.
With the Xbox 360, you have to be very careful about which network you choose. If you’re using a wired connection, you should use a wireless router that has a wireless network card in it. This will ensure that you can still use the wired network, but also prevent your network from getting confused between your wired and wireless connections. If you want a wireless router, we recommend one with a wireless network card.
