Weezer, the all-star band of bands that came out of the 70s and 80s and got pretty big in the 90s, was a one-hit-per-city phenomenon.
It was so bad that the band decided it was time to re-group to try and get back on the map, and that’s when the summer game fest weezer happened. They actually broke up back in 1999, but were still touring and playing shows together for a while.

They’re having a series of mini-tour dates in cities all over the world and have just released a new album called Weezer II, which contains 16 more songs that they wrote in the first place.

Weezer is known for their rock-based music, but this album has a lot more of the pop-based rock stuff, which is a lot more fun to listen to. The album also has a lot more of the instrumentals, which is a lot more fun to listen to, as well.
The last Weezer album, Weezer II, was released in 1999 and contained only 8 songs. But the band changed their sound and became much more pop-oriented, with songs like “Summer of Love” and “I’m in Love” becoming very popular. Weezers new album, Weezer II, has 16 more tracks written by the band, and it’s about to be released soon.
