One of the most important benefits of licensing is that it creates jobs. Jobs in all kinds of fields are created when a technology like the Internet or video-conferencing technology is made available to people who are not already in school. Now, it’s true that not all of those jobs are created by licensing, but they are created by licensing, so the point is worth noting.
I’m of the opinion that licensing is the only way to create job opportunities in the technology world. I was talking with one of my friends this past weekend, and he was very concerned about the state of our education system. He said that he couldn’t find any classes online that were useful for students in his profession. He said that he had been taught for nine years, but he could only find classes that taught specific subjects that he was required to take.
Unfortunately that is only part of the problem. There is no one school where a student can go to get a degree in something he is not required to take. There is no school where you can learn how to build something. This creates a lot of problems. One is that it means that you have to pay up to $30,000 for an entire degree. That is insane, especially when you consider that all of these courses cost less than $100.
The other problem is that many of the courses can’t be taken as a full time job. They are usually self-employed. So what happens to the students who don’t make a good living teaching themselves something that doesn’t pay? Well it might just be the university or it could be the city, but it’s definitely not a job to count on.
The issue with these programs is that they need to be used for work. And while some degree programs arent that expensive, many of them are. And while it may not be the case that the students are really self-employed they are usually not. And the fact that they have to pay a license fee is just a small hurdle that must be overcome. Its a lot like how you need a driver’s license when you are driving a car.
The issue with these programs is that they are not just used for work, they are often used to get a job or a job related to work. Like if you want to get a job in a field that requires a license, you have to pay for that license. So you can’t just buy a license to get a job like most other licensing programs.
