I was just reading an article about a guy who started his career as a sales rep for a radio company. His company went out of business and he was the one who went to work for a company that had a new business model. He sold a new product to a new audience. His boss at the time, who he worked very closely with, had the same sales approach. They are both awesome entrepreneurs.

Steve Jobs’s new business model is a great model for entrepreneurs too. Sales is a big part of marketing, and it’s a huge part of sales. You don’t make money by selling to someone you don’t know. You make money when you sell to a person who is like yourself, who is like you. That’s why in general, you can’t just say, “Hey, I’m a sales person.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
