I’ve been a longtime fan of all things Sony. I’ve owned and played PS4 for a year now. I’ve had Sony PS4 for a good while, and I’ve used it for gaming, streaming, and photo editing. I’ve been a Sony fan for a long time. I’ve always been a fan of the company, but I was a bit of a Sony skeptic.
Sony has been the leading force in the console wars for quite awhile. They recently announced their new console, the Sony Playstation 4. Ive always been a bit of a Sony skeptic. I had my doubts and reservations about the company after the Playstation 3 came out a year and a half ago. I still do. But after months of Sony PS4 being announced, Ive changed my mind. Ive been a Sony fan for a long, long time.
The Playstation 4 crossplay is actually more of a way for the PS3 to play with the Playstation 4, rather than any crossplay whatsoever. Of course, that doesn’t mean Sony doesn’t love the PS3’s console compatibility, just that they’re doing their best to make it a bit less of a headache. The crossplay function allows you to play with the Playstation 4, without any need to use the PS3’s internet connection.
It does mean that you cant play your PS3s games with your PS4, however, if you play your PS3s games on your PS4, you can still access the internet. However, you cant take your PS3s games with you and play with them on your PS4. Sony have stated that the crossplay function will be very limited, however, that doesnt mean it wont work.
The good news is that crossplay works, it just takes a little bit of extra work. The bad news is that it will still make some people unhappy.
The PS4 is a lot like a desktop computer. If you are playing your games on your computer, you are using your computer to play your games. If you are playing on your PS4, you are using a PS4 as a gaming device. Therefore, the PS4 is capable of running all the same games you can run on your computer. This will be a huge headache for Sony if they want to make crossplay work, however. Sony is now being very vague about this.
It looks like Sony’s been told that they’ll need to do some extra work. The good news is that it will probably go faster on the PS4 than it is on the PC. The PS4 is being made to work on either its own native GPU, or on an Nvidia GPU. It would probably take a few years to get the PS4 to work on both its own GPU and on an Nvidia GPU.
