When I first got this phone, I was a little disappointed by the lack of physical buttons. I thought it would be easier to interact with the phone with the touchpad instead of using the physical buttons. This is not a big complaint though because I think that the touchpad is actually a much better way to interact with the phone and it provides a lot more control anyway. The thing is, while that touchpad is definitely easier to use, it is still very much a touch screen.
The touchpad is an incredibly small touch screen with a lot of buttons. In fact, touchscreens are so much quicker and easier to use than the physical buttons, it’s a wonder we don’t have them. I’m glad that Sony has finally given us touch screens for our phones, but I have to say that the touchpad is a major downer for me.
