Every one of the three levels of self-awareness is also the first level of self-consciousness. From this place we develop a sense of self and an introverted personality. Most of us have become inured to this state, unless we are the type of person who is really into playing games.
The first level of self-awareness is not just about introversion. The second and third levels are about the introverted personality. I guess we’ve all become inured to the idea that introversion is a self-defeating trait, and the introvert doesn’t have the brainpower to overcome the introvert’s self-awareness.
And you can be exactly the same.
We don’t get to be introverts until we are adults. So for those of us who are not introverts, but still enjoy playing games, it is important to understand the difference between the two. One of my big pet peeves about extroverts is that they feel the need to project their introversion onto others. It’s very easy to pretend that youre not introverted and that youre normal. Just don’t do it. The same thing goes with extroverts. You should know that this is what your character is going to do.
