I’m not really sure what exactly the difference is between the Dual-Sense button for the PS5 and the Dual-Sense button for the DualShockers. However, this post has been in the works for years, so I thought I would share the idea that I’ve come up with for the Dual-Sense buttons.
The Dual-Sense buttons are for Xbox and Playstation players. They are also used for the DualShockers, where the left of the Dual-Sense button is the left analog stick, and the right is the right analog stick. The Dual-Sense buttons do not have the same functionality as the DualShockers.
I just thought I’d come up with a new name for it to have since I don’t think a lot of you know what it is, but I wanted to make something that would be a little different, more unique to the Dual-Sense buttons that have been in gaming…
Not all Dual-Sense buttons have been the same ever. We’ve seen the Dual-Sense buttons used in games like Sonic Adventure, Super Mario Galaxy, and Forza Motorsport 3. But even some of the older Dual-Sense buttons have different functionality. For example, the Dual-Sense buttons in Forza 3 had a left analog stick and a right analog stick. The right analog stick was used for the accelerator and the left analog stick was used for the brake.
Because of their unique functionality, some Dual-Sense buttons have been used in a couple games. The Dual-Sense button on the Xbox 360 game Forza 3 was the same as the Dual-Sense button in the recently released Forza Motorsport 3. The Dual-Sense button in Sonic Adventure was the same as the Dual-Sense button in Sonic Generations.
The Dual-Sense button on the Xbox 360 controller was the same as the Dual-Sense button on the Xbox One controller. It is a bit of a bummer that the Dual-Sense button in Forza 3 doesn’t offer the same functionality.
The Dual-Sense button seems to be a fairly common feature on the PS4 controller. It’s a bit strange though that it doesn’t offer the same functionality on both platforms.

You can’t change what you can’t see.
The Dual-Sense feature lets you change your console’s mode of operation with two different button combinations. To put it simply, if your console has Dual-Sense, then the two buttons on the controller will work when you switch to that mode. This is a great way to let your console know that you want it to do something that it normally wouldn’t. The mode change is also used for a few other things in the game, such as activating the Xbox Wireless Controller.
Dual-Sense mode is a bit more complex that just changing the mode on your controller. All Dual-Sense does is change which button on your controller is activated when you turn on Dual-Sense. Like most things in the game, this is not something you’ll be able to do on your Xbox One or PS4. That said, the game doesn’t really do anything to complicate things since it’s all about the controller itself.
