I’ve been very excited about the PlayStation showcase, because it’s a showcase for the future of games. We’ve been watching the previews for a few years and we’ve been trying to figure out how the console is going to evolve. I think we’ve seen some interesting technology, and I’m ready to see more of it. I think the PlayStation showcase is a great opportunity to show off what’s coming in the near future.
The PlayStation showcase is a chance for developers to tell us about the ideas they have and the games they are developing, and a chance for us to see the games they are creating. In the past, we have had a chance to watch the very latest trailer of a game before it even releases, and for the last few years we have seen games come out that have been shown at the show.
Last year we saw the announcement trailer for the next installment in the Dark Souls series. From that trailer we saw the game was still in pre-production, and we also saw some clips of the game in action before it was even available for sale to the general public. This year we had a chance to see some of the final pre-production footage for the game, and we were blown away.
The game is being shown for the first time last night at the PlayStation showcase. It’s scheduled to be shown at the Tokyo Game Show in November, which is just a couple of weeks after its release.
In a world where we’re constantly waiting for “the next big thing” and “the next big thing” is now being shown, we should all be excited for the next big thing. However, the reason we should be excited for it, is that this game will be far more epic than you can possibly imagine.
We had a chance to play it last night and we couldn’t have been more impressed. From what we’ve seen, this is the first game we’ve seen that has realistic dialogue. The voice acting is good, the characters are likable, and the game is challenging. Of course, that isn’t a show-stopper, but it’s good to see.
It isnt just the game being a little more epic than the first time around. It is the fact that we can have realistic dialogue in a game that can also be challenging. The fact that we can also have realistic dialogue in a game where the main character is actually an amnesiac and can be killed without a trace, is a game that we must all be excited about. Its the whole reason we play games.
I think playstation’s hype is overblown, but I do think that games like this (and yes, even games like the first Deathloop) are important in the industry. I think that when we play a game like this in the future, we should expect to hear about it on game sites and get more information about it. It’s nice to get a little more information about a game before we buy a console (or even a game!).
Its not all that strange that the Playstation showcase is a game that has to be played in order to get information about it. When we play a game, we’re not just looking at the ads, we’re looking at the game itself. We want information, and that includes what systems we can expect to see in the future. We’re not just going to buy a console and then expect games to be released for it.
It is, of course, a bit strange to expect games for a platform that is already being used by millions of people, but that’s what we have to do. It’s just a bit strange that it’s not more obvious that we are looking at games for a system that is already a huge part of our lives, but that’s just the way the showcase is designed.
