I was inspired to write this article after seeing a video of a kiamichi tech center in Japan. The video was taken in the early morning hours of a rainy day. Despite the rain, the buildings and the surroundings were filled with people. They were all on their phones texting, tweeting, or hanging out in the center. The fact that they were so busy and so unaware of what was happening around them is a testament to the fact that technology has penetrated very deeply into our lives.
