Hotel Newport News is my favorite New York hotel. Their amenities, location, and friendly staff make this the perfect place to get away from it all.

This is a big blow to the hotel industry, but I’m sure that the hotel will be back in business in a few years. Here’s hoping the Times is right though because I am not yet ready to make the switch to the much more expensive and less comfy Hilton.
