If you are like many of my readers, you are likely to have spent more than a few minutes trying to explain the concept of “free” to yourself and/or others. If you didn’t know this, you should. Free is a great word and great concept.
Free is the most powerful word in the word ‘accounts’ in the world of online games. When you sign up for a free account with a major online retailer like EA or GOG, you get a free digital copy of the games you purchase. This is huge for gamers who dont have the disposable income to buy physical game carts. There are plenty of other online games which offer free accounts.
I have to admit that I have never been a big fan of EA’s online games (except the Guitar Hero ones), but GOG’s is one of the best. They offer free accounts for a ton of games, and I think that the GOG deals might be worth it for gamers who dont have the disposable income to buy physical game carts.
I’ve never played a GOG game (yet), but I’m sure I’ll get sucked into their online services someday. If you’re a PS Plus member, you get a free copy of the game each and every month. If you have a PlayStation Plus account, though, you get an extra copy every month. The best part of this deal is that you can sign up for the PS Plus service on any platform you want.
The only thing that I dont like about this deal is that I have to pay for PS Plus when I play a game. I think I will be stuck with this deal forever.
It looks like GOG has a very limited free PS Plus offer. It only lasts for a month. After that, you get a one-time price. If you are a GOG member, you are allowed to play all the games on the disc for free. For those that are not, you have to pay a one-time fee (currently $5, but it will increase later) to access the extras.
I have not played PS Plus in a while, but I have a few friends that have. I know that free is still a major feature of the service, but I feel like the pricing could be a lot better. For example, I know that the free extras include a lot of extra features like unlimited online play, but I don’t know if that is truly available anywhere else.
Free online play isn’t a feature of PS Plus, it’s a feature in all of the games. You just need to sign up for the free trial, then you will get access to all the game’s servers. I know that this is a major feature for some people but I don’t think anyone is going to pay for it.
The PS Plus service is the same as Xbox Live, but there are limits on what you can get through the Xbox Live service. You can play through Xbox Live first, then check if you have any PS Plus games that are on that account. This is great for people who want to play specific games, but if you want to play everything, you have to sign up for PS Plus first, then you can continue as you please.
This is one of the things I would like to see in a PS Plus service but I realize that this is a big ask for many people. I think the only reason I got my PS Plus account was because it was free and I was going to get a lot of games from it, so I wouldnt say that it made me a better person but I would say it made me a more aware one.
