We should not be in a rush to get a job that will take us all the way to the top of the ladder. A finance job will take you to the top and not get you there in the first place. They aren’t as glamorous as they seem, but if you are willing to put in the time and effort, they can be very rewarding.
While it does not sound as if most finance jobs are going to be high paying, they can still be very rewarding. In fact, most finance jobs will probably not pay well, but if you have a good idea and if you are willing to put your head down and work hard, you can find your dream finance job.
What you are looking for is something that you need to put your head down and work to do. If you can put your head down and work hard, you can find anything you want. Just make sure you are doing it with an attitude of, “If I don’t make it, I’m not going to.” I have had more than one finance job turn into something that I had absolutely zero interest in doing.
If you want to work in finance, you have to be willing to put your head down and work hard. Not only that, you have to be willing to put yourself out there and make yourself a target. I have taken loans with people that I absolutely hated. I would have ended up going broke trying to get a loan. I would have ended up losing everything. These people were not worth anything to me.
I am not saying you have to hate finance or be a target or anything like that. Just be willing to put yourself out there and work hard. It just takes hard work and motivation to get yourself out of the situation you are in. After all it is still a job.
It is still a job, but you have to do it in a way that makes it worthwhile. If you hate it you will lose it, but if you hate it and get rewarded for it, it is a reward in itself. You have to work to make it worth your life. If you hate it and get rewarded for it, that is a reward in itself.
I don’t know about you, but I do like the idea of starting a new job with a good paycheck at the end of it. Not to mention, I’m already a programmer. And I love what the guy behind open-source software is doing. So if I was an employer, I would give him a bonus for his work.
As I was writing this, I found myself thinking of another software developer who’s now a multi-millionaire and is building a really great product. He’s working on a really cool platform that allows him to make money and hire programmers that he loves. Instead of giving him a bonus for being a great developer, he’s giving the same guy a bonus for being in a position to make a really great product. It must be something that happens in our lives that we should be happy about.
Yeah, I’m sure there are plenty of people who make a lot of money and then feel great about it, but I think that there are a few people who make a lot of money and then feel great about it but still feel like crap. They’re the ones that think they have no idea what they’re doing when they make a lot of money. I think there are a few of these people in almost every career.
Well, perhaps its better to be a finance guy who is happy in life than a finance guy who is miserable. We make a lot of money too, but we don’t always feel a lot of money in our pocket. And we also don’t feel like we have anything to show for it. We make money, and we don’t really feel like it’s worth anything, so we feel like we should use it to feel great. But it’s more than just a feeling.
