A pure monopolist should never produce .

This is a sentence that I intentionally left blank for you to fill in with your own words.

A pure monopolist should never produce  because it will only lead to greater restrictions on their market share.

Eventually, the end of their business altogether.

The word “should” is used twice so it could be removed from both instances .

Without changing the meaning of the sentence (although this would change its tone).

A pure monopolist should never produce  because it will only lead to greater restrictions on their market share and eventually, the end of their business altogether.

A pure monopolist should not produce in any industry that they can’t dominate as a monopoly or near-monopoly.

This means that they shouldn’t enter into industries where there are already many established players making your entry difficult or impossible .

Like fast food restaurants for example, since McDonalds has been around for decades and won’t go away easily.
