Today, the weather in Newport News is perfect. It is a beautiful, sunny, cool day. I love the fact that we didn’t get the chance to snow in this area, but that is a rare occurrence here. I am hoping to get a chance to shovel at least once this summer.

I do hope and pray that we get a chance this summer to get some snow. Our winter here is brutal and last year, we got snow for maybe 2 days. It feels so much better when we get snow that it makes it feel like were back at the resort.
I agree, it is so hard to get snow here. I think we spend way too much time indoors, even in the winter. I would much rather spend the winter outdoors.
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels that way. I think it is because the winters here are so long and the summers so short. It is a big change from the Florida winters where I grew up for 11 years. I’m hoping that my children’s children will get to experience the same feeling of springtime that I remember from my childhood.
I think the new-found snow is just a great excuse for a snow day. I mean, what’s not to love about watching the sun set over the snow? It’s that perfect.
The movie’s a bit wobbly and I think I’m going to have to make it more than a little wobbler. So I’m going to have to make a movie about snow, and I’m going to have to make a movie about the way it looks, and so I’m going to have to make a movie about it.
The only movie I saw was the new “Gone With the Wind,” and I can’t imagine it will be very good.
