I still have not gotten my hands on the ps5. I may still go out and buy the console, but I can’t buy the game. So I’m still looking at alternatives.

We’re a bit late to the party here on this one, but one of the reasons I like the system is because it’s a bit more forgiving than the Xbox 360. The 360 is very strict regarding which games are allowed or allowed only to be in the console’s library. The PS3 is similar except that each game can only be played once.

As it turns out, the ps3 and ps4 are very similar. The PS3 has some of the strongest support for online multiplayer ever, letting you play games with other people from around the world. The PS4 doesn’t have a single game that supports multiplayer at all. The PS3 and PS4’s libraries are identical in terms of games allowed to be in both consoles with the exception of the lack of online functionality.

If both consoles had the same online capabilities it would basically be a different game. Not only would it be extremely difficult for a game to be released on both consoles, but it would also be a huge waste of resources and potentially jeopardizing sales of both consoles. The idea that the consoles are the same is only true when you only consider games that can be played on both platforms. The fact that the consoles are identical is just a fact.

I have to say, I agree with them on the online capabilities. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to try to compete with the console hardware they own. It’s a lot easier to change a console’s operating system than it is to change the console itself.

The problem I see with online gaming is that it’s an exercise in futility. The console manufacturers should be focusing more on the hardware and less on the software features. So while it’s still possible to get some pretty awesome games for a console that can run pretty much anything, it’s much easier to make a console that only runs games that you can actually play. I also think online games are best suited for console gamers who are already hooked on the console.

I agree. I like some of the games on the PS4, but some of the ones I’ve tried on the PS5 are simply not fun. Games like Battlefront II, which has a lot of repetitive gameplay, and a ridiculous amount of glitches, are probably why I’m only giving it a 3 because I have yet to try a single one.

No, that’s not true. I actually use the XBox360 for online gaming, but I’ve never seen any of the online games that the PS4 has. The only true online games I’ve played are the ones that are available on the PS4. If you want to play online like the PS4, you’ll have to get a PS4.
