Self-monitoring and self-analysis technology have been around for a long time. We used them during our childhood when we were learning how to read and write. As we matured, we realized that we didn’t need them as regularly as we thought we should. In fact, they weren’t even a necessary part of our daily lives. It was as if they were a necessary part of our self-monitoring and self-analysis.
Self-monitoring and self-analysis technology are a crucial part of every day life as a modern human. They are built into everything from our cell phones to our coffee makers to our TVs to our washing machines to our computers. Each has the ability to record us and analyze us. Our phones record our cell phone calls, our computers record our mouse movements, our TVs record our TV shows, and our PCs record our web browsing and email.
Technology is going to have to be built into our society in some way, and it’s not impossible. Just like smartphones, PCs, and TVs, it’s not as simple as it seems. Sure, we’ll want to build some sort of technology into all of our devices, but they aren’t going to be designed in such a way that they record our entire activities. Most of these technologies are more than just simple recording.
I don’t fully grasp the idea of taking a self-report, analyzing it, and then making that report available to others. But it sounds as if this technology is here to stay in the future of our society.
This is the thing that makes analyzing our lives so much more interesting than other tools. It isnt as simple as just logging all your activities. For example, we all still use our devices for a lot of the things we don’t think are important. We still use them for our jobs, for social interactions, and for our personal lives. But it isnt as simple as logging all of these things, there are lots of steps that go into analysis and reporting.
Of course, the first step is to create a system to keep track of all your activities. It can be as simple as a list of your apps that you have. It can also be as complicated as a personal diary that is able to record all of your thoughts and feelings. It can even be a little more complicated, like the popular “lifestyle manager” website that allows you to track everything you eat, drink, and do in your life.
Most people are probably familiar with the idea that it takes a lot more effort to make your life more fun than it does to make your life more productive. But, for those of us who are on track to make a ton of money and live the lives of our dreams, keeping track of our time and activities is one of the most challenging things we do.
Self-monitoring, analysis, and reporting is the practice of analyzing and reporting how you spend your time and how you spend your money. Self-monitoring is a bit simpler since you don’t have to rely on any third parties to make these reports. If you’re a blogger, you could have a dashboard where you make a list of what you’re doing, where you’re spending your time, and how much you’re spending.
Many software tools offer self-monitoring and analysis. Some, like Google Analytics, give you the ability to send the results directly to your website. The other great example of a self-monitoring tool would be Microsoft’s Hotmail. You can give it a list of your contacts, and it will send you a report of the time they spend on your site, and the amount they spend.
Hotmail is an example of a self-monitoring tool, although I don’t know if it is the only one. There are also tools like Foursquare where you set up a list of your friends and their current location, and it can send you a report every time someone in your network visits your location.
