I’m a huge fan of scarborough house furniture, so when I saw this gorgeous piece online, I had to have it. Yes, I know that it is probably going to cost a lot of money, but the color of the fabric and the style of the pieces made it a no-brainer. The only thing that I think could have been better was the stitching on the base, but it just didn’t feel as sturdy as the ones I have at home.

Yes, if you have the money, it’s very easy to recreate the look of the original. You can find some very good deals on the internet for a lot of the original pieces.
Actually, I bought this piece for the same price at a local craft store about two years ago. I liked it so much I went to the next show and bought a second one. But I found out a month ago that the original was being sold out of stock, so I’m going to buy a second one from my local craft store and see if I can use it.
I can only assume that if you wanted to recreate an original piece, you would need to spend a lot of money and get it from the original location. While I realize that it’s not much of a big deal for you to recreate a piece of furniture from a store, it is for me and the other people who purchase the original. The original piece is the original.
The original was just a toy, but I think it was a complete and total failure, and I suppose that makes any other piece of furniture that you get from a store that you bought out of stock a complete failure.
Some people may feel that purchasing a toy like that is a big deal, I find that it is not. While they can get it from a store for free, I don’t think I could live with myself if I had to buy a piece of furniture after it was already at my house. It is just me. Plus like I said, you can’t really replicate something that isn’t there.
That’s why I also have no problem owning a piece of furniture that is not there with no strings attached. Even if its not a couch, a chair, or a bed. Even if its not something that is supposed to be there. I think if you really want something that isnt there, you need to make it your own. If you don’t, the rest will always be there.
I agree with you. Its not easy getting rid of something you dont even want.
I have a friend who is a very good house-maker. He loves to make furniture, but he’s been doing it for years and years and years and years and years since he learned how to make things and he’s really, really good at it. I think he’s probably the only person that I’ve ever seen who’s actually got any fun in it, and he’s probably the only person that I’ve ever seen who’s really, really good at it.
