I know the console has been out for a while now, but I just realized that I haven’t had any console leaks. I was just so excited for this because it could be the first console I’ve lost for a while.
This news comes from a Sony.com message about a year ago, which also mentions a leak of new console information. It sounds like this article is about the PlayStation 3, but I can’t confirm or deny that.
The leak came from a Japanese blog called Famitsu, which was a kind of equivalent to IGN in Japan. In the past, most of the consoles we’ve had leaked were either the PlayStation 2 or PSP first-party titles. Most of the console leaks are on the last-generation of consoles. That’s especially true of Sony’s consoles, since it has recently taken a few steps backwards in terms of console quality.
The PSP and PS2 are about to get another great piece of hardware, with the Nintendo DS and Sony Walkman both making for great accessories. So these leaks will be very interesting to see if we get our first-party games this year.
The Wii is making a comeback, with Nintendo still making great games for the platform. But the leaks are also starting to look ominous. While we don’t know the exact details of each leak yet, we do know that it looks like the console is going to be a little less powerful than the 3DS and Wii, possibly losing the same thing as the DS. The DS is also missing the ability to play games that use a CD-like optical disk.
Personally, I think this is a pretty good sign that Nintendo is working on a console less powerful than the 3DS and DS, but at the same time I know from experience that it doesn’t mean they’re giving up on the 3DS.
So we may not have the console we were hoping for, but we have the console we were hoping for.
I like that weve found a leak coming out of nowhere. It could be that the console is indeed coming and then we dont know it, but I am feeling less hopeful about this leak. This leak comes at the possible expense of the more important of the 3DS and Wii. If the 3DS is a new console and we dont know about it, then I dont think we get to hold it.
A leak is basically a leak of information. I dont think the PS3 leak was a leak of information, its just that a leak of information means it is being used in the wrong way (at the wrong time). I dont think it is being used against the 3DS or Wii. I dont think it is being used to get them to fix some other part of their console. I dont think Sony just made this leak up, it is the 3DS and Wii leaks that are the leak.
I think Sony is just trying to get the 3DS and Wii to fix the hardware, and it is just a leak they are doing to get them to fix the hardware. I think they are trying to make sure that they fix the 3DS and Wii because if they dont, it will look like they are working on it to fix it. I think it is just a leak Sony is doing to get the 3DS and Wii to fix the hardware.
