I’ve always had a personal finance mentality. I’ve always wanted to know how I was doing financially. So when I had to borrow money, I always knew that I would have to pay back the money. I also knew I couldn’t let my savings go to waste. So I was always going to be very careful about how I spent money. I was always going to be very careful about how I spent my time.

We all have that “should be careful” mentality. When we hear someone say they cant wait to pay the rent or buy new clothes we are immediately reminded of the old saying “if you can’t, don’t buy”. That is the mentality we all have when we want to avoid money going to waste and trying to spend time on things that will take our attention away from our goal.

A lot of people are like that. But it’s not always about avoiding spending money. It’s when you have the wrong mindset that you end up spending money. That’s exactly what happened to me. I had the mindset that I dont need to save money because I can spend it. I thought I was going to use that money to eat out or to take a vacation, and I ended up wasting it all.

Thats because the mindset is wrong. Spending money you can afford to spend on things that will take your attention away from your goal is the correct mindset. Spending money you can easily afford to save is the wrong mindset. Spending money you dont want to spend on things that take your attention away from your goal is the wrong mindset. I think the mindset is wrong because we have a tendency to not look at our finances in the right light. We look at our finances and see a bunch of mountains and hills and trees. We see that we are good, financially. We see that our house is a great investment, and we see that we are not wasting our money. We see that we should be happy with our money, and that we should have a really nice house and really nice clothes and really nice cars.

In our society, money is a thing that we have little control over. It’s something that we get, and it’s something that we can spend. But it’s also something that we can’t control. This is true no matter how much we think we can control it. Our money is not a thing that we have control over. We can control our income, but we cannot control our spending.

Money is like a person. We should be happy with our money, but its also something that we are not completely free to control. We can make it go up, but we cannot make it go down.

The good news is that your income (what you have coming into you) is not going to go up. The bad news is that it might go down. You have the power to save money, but that is not the same as having control over it. If you spend a little bit of every paycheck on food, that is a good thing. But its also something that you might not be able to control. If you don’t pay your bills, someone else will.

Again, there is no such thing as a “free lunch.” There is a fixed amount of money and a fixed amount of food you have coming into you. But what happens when you spend that money on food and you dont have it? You have to pay your bills. If you just spend some of your money on food, you are just giving yourself a free lunch, but the fact that you are paying your bills is not going to be a good thing.

The point is this. If you have a fixed amount of money coming into you that you dont spend, you might as well just give yourself a free lunch and pay your bills. The amount of money you have coming into you is determined by a fixed amount of money that is coming into you, which is a fixed amount of food you have. And if you are not feeding yourself, you are not getting your food.
