In fact, its hard to even say what the PS4 is. After all its one of those products that is made to last. The Xbox One, for example, has a slightly different gameplay model and is a bit more forgiving.

I think it all comes down to the fact that the PS4s are the best console out there. The Xbox One is only just starting to catch on with the public and its own user base has been very small so far. The PS4 has a far larger user base and thus far, people are enjoying the games and games are being released to their own games libraries.
I agree. It may be true that the PS4 has a larger user base, but it is still not enough to make most PS4 owners happy. The fact is Xbox One is far more popular than the PS4. However, when Sony announced its plans to release the PS4 to the public, there were a few PS4 owners who were ecstatic, as they saw the benefits of being able to release a console with some of their favorite games.
