We all have a natural tendency to want to feel like we know a lot. We’re not as bad as we might have previously believed, and it may be the result of something as mundane as our natural curiosity. But what we do with that knowledge is up to us, and it can be a powerful thing.

In general, as long as we’re not acting on it, we’re not acting on it. That’s partly because the knowledge itself doesn’t matter. It’s not in our heads that we ought to be doing anything. It’s in our brains that we’re supposed to be doing things. The fact that we’re acting on something is based on our own minds and not on something else.

What do we do when we get nervous? We get nervous because we have an innate and very specific ability to understand our environment. This means we have to do things at some level, but we have to know how to do them at all. Even if we are not at the level of our environment, we have to know how to make them run at us. And as we have more knowledge, we have to be better at doing it.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
