how to connect vr controllers: Expectations vs. Reality

I know this is a tricky subject, especially when it comes to new things, but I’ve found that there is no better way to learn how to interact with a game than by actually playing it. The best way to learn this is to play with the controller.

In this article I will cover how to play your controller. There are a couple of things to note about this, though. First, the controller needs to be plugged in. It can work on the console as well as on the PC, but I usually find that a PC controller works best.

So plug the controller into the USB port on your PC (which should be a standard USB port for consoles). Plug the USB cable into your PC. The controller should then have a red LED light on it. When you press the button, the red LED on the controller will turn on. If you go into the settings menu on your controller, you should find a button labeled “Connect to VR.” Press this button and that should connect the controller to your virtual reality PC.

If you have an Xbox 360, PS3, or PS4 system, you’ll need to add the USB cables to the controller. I usually use the PS4 controller because of the ease of porting it to my PS3. However, you may want to use your Xbox controller or PS3.

I just wish VR controllers were USB compatible, then you’d see more gamers using them. It’ll be fun to see how far we’ll get though.

It’s actually pretty easy to connect to your new VR PC, too. Just plug the VR controller and the USB cords into the PC and hook them up the cable you just attached to the controller. You should get a good signal, and the controller should work just fine.

In our very own case study, we’re using a PS4 controller with a PS3 wireless connection. Since there’s no direct connection that can be made between the controllers, you’ll have to go into the Playstation Store and buy a PS4 controller to pair them up with. We’re also using a PS3, so you’ll need a PS3 controller as well.

Theres a couple of options, and here’s one we tested out: PS4 USB Cable with Universal USB Adapter.

You may not need a PS3 controller to play vr, but you will have to buy one if you want to play on the console. Once you buy the controller, youll need to use it with your pc to make the connection. The PS4 controller that was tested worked really well for us, and we were able to play on the console without having to buy a new one.

On the face of it, this seems like a pretty simple process. You plug the controller into the PC, and the PC automatically recognizes the controller, and you can use it on the console. That said, it does add a couple of steps, and you probably have to set up a new network account if you do that.
