The service uses a “streamer” model, meaning it streams your content to you on your XBOX ONE console. The streaming service itself is very similar to Netflix or Hulu, but the main difference is that it gives you access to all of your programming in one place.
The service is also very similar to Hulu, in that you can watch your entire television schedule, but it also streams your streaming content, so you can watch shows like Game of Thrones, American Idol, and more without having to login to a complicated online site. It’s an excellent streaming service if you prefer the ease of watching your programming on your console, but it also allows you to access your programming without having to login.
the downside of Directv is that you can’t stream any original programming. However, the service is still very good if you want to stream live programming from a live event, but in this case, you’ll be able to watch programming directly from a broadcasting studio. And it will work with any of the major streaming services, as well.
It’s only been a few weeks since Directv announced that it was going to launch, so it is starting to make its way to some of the more hardcore gamers. The new service is very similar to the Xbox Live gaming service. You can access your programming on the Xbox One via an Xbox Live Gold membership, or as a one-time charge when you sign up for Directv. The downside is that the service doesn’t support the Xbox 360 or PS3.
Now, if Sony were to launch the same service, I think the service would likely be used by a lot of Sony gamers. The Xbox One is the only console that has the ability to stream directly to a TV using the Xbox Live streaming service. That means you can watch your favorite shows on the Xbox One and even use the Xbox 360’s online entertainment features to watch shows from other accounts on the Xbox 360.
On the other hand, Sony has a few Xbox Live Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus memberships. Since people are using the Directv service for games, I would expect the service to be used by a lot of Sony gamers. The upside is that you can use the Playstation Plus service to stream games to your PS3 and the PS3 can have the ability to stream directly to your Xbox 360. The downside is that these services only work with the Xbox 360 or PS3.
I think everyone who uses the service will want to know if the service will work for Xbox 360 owners. If you do you can get access to the Xbox 360 and get access to the PS3. If you do not own the Xbox 360, you cannot join the PlayStation Plus service.
The Xbox 360 is the only console that I know of that supports Xbox Live. This means that you can go to an Xbox Live website and sign up for a free trial account. You can link your account to your Xbox 360 and use your Xbox 360 to play PS3 games. We haven’t tested this ourselves, but it seems like it will work.
