I’ve been to the career center, and it looks like it’s going to be about the best job center in the state. For example, they have job listings for software developers and project managers, who could use the skills they learned in the center, but do most of their work at home. The job postings are open to anyone and you don’t have to have a degree to get one of these jobs.
Its not like anything you’ve read in the media about career centers. Its actually the only one in the state that seems to be a real career center.
