So for those who believe that the internet is the devil’s playground, allow me to assure you that this isn’t the case. While the internet is a major productivity tool, it can also be a nuisance. In fact, you’ll find that the internet actually has the potential to become a tool.
A very large number of websites are not set up to handle traffic that exceeds the speed of light. The internet is a big place, and it has its limits. In order to connect to the internet you would have to have a computer with a connection speed that can support it. For example, a computer with a connection speed that matches the speed of light.
But if you’re not going to use the internet, you should at least have some idea of what it’s capable of. In some cases, you can even protect yourself from some of the nastier parts of the internet by avoiding certain websites. While some people would argue that you should never use the internet if you’re not going to use it, you can’t deny that there are some areas of the internet that are actually quite dangerous.
If you have a router, you can disable or block specific sites. In other cases, your router can be used to block access to specific websites. For example, I can block access to sites like porn, pornhub, and pornsearch.com. I can blacklist sites like twitter.com and Facebook.com. I can also block specific pages. I can block Facebook.com and Twitter.com, and I can add my own sites to the list if I really want to.
Avast didn’t seem to be blocking those sites in the most recent update, but in the last update they added a new setting that can be used to block specific websites. Now, that’s a big change. Avast has become increasingly more invasive over the years, and it’s also become the go-to choice for blocking sites.
There has been a lot of discussion about how Avast has evolved from a security suite that blocks and blocks until you die to an invasive web-blocking utility. Its also become increasingly more difficult to use. It is difficult to even know if its blocking a site, or if there was a specific page that has been blocked.
Well, I say that this week. Avast is blocking any and all websites that use the name “avast”. And that means anything and everything that uses that name and the “.com” part of the URL. Like, I can’t even trust my own browser to not try and access a site with that part of the URL in the end, let alone the name “avast”. It is a confusing mess.
To be fair, the whole thing is being blocked by Avast, but I do expect it to become more difficult to use in the future. It’s blocking a lot of people’s websites, and in the future it will be impossible to even know if your website is blocked.
The good news here is that Avast is removing this block.
Avast is a web security company that makes it incredibly difficult for users to access websites that have been blocked or taken down. I imagine that the company plans to add a new block to the top of the list.
