Why is a router entering setup mode?

You might be wondering this question if you have just unboxed your new wireless router.

The reason for the setup mode on routers is that it configures the device to connect with other devices on your network.

Also sets up a secure internet connection.

If you want to use the wireless signal of your router, then you will need to configure it by going through the steps in Setup Mode.

Setup Mode is a router’s default mode that configures the device to connect with other devices on your network, and also sets up a secure internet connection.

Setup can only be done when you are connected directly to the computer.

You will need an Ethernet cable from your modem or DSL box in order for the setup mode to work properly.

Once you have plugged both ends of the cord into each side of the wireless router, plug it into any free USB port on your desktop PC or laptop.

If this does not work, then you may need either an adapter or power strip for USB ports that have more than one available slot (if there isn’t already).
