This is a composite image of the real scene in front of me.
I was standing on an incline, looking down at a row of bushes and trees that had grown up from the sidewalk into a high wall.
I could see that there were people walking along the other side where it wasn’t so overgrown.
The evening light cast long shadows across their path. It was getting cold out, and I pulled my jacket more tightly around myself as I walked back to my car.

The blog post content is about the author’s experience in viewing an overgrown area and wondering if it was ever clear to someone.
The author walks back to their car but can’t help but think that maybe one day.
They or others may have some time again to take care of such areas.
