The organization was set up by Hannah Birkett who wanted to create a safe haven.

Where birds were kept from being captured or killed simply because they are different.

She has so far saved over 350 wild birds that have been injured or abandoned during storms last years such as hurricane Harvey and Irma.

Which hit Florida and Texas earlier this week respectively.

Hannah’s passion started when she found out her local hobby shop owner would drown any bird he caught but couldn’t sell them instead of releasing it back into nature as most people did.

This was because the birds would leave droppings in their shop and he couldn’t get rid of them.

The sanctuary is currently being funded by donations from people such as yourself and has been visited date by over 12,00 people.

By donating you will not only help these beautiful creatures but also help create better awareness about animals that might need our support.
