I’m so glad they are finally getting these, I really think they should have been in the ps3 at one point, way more than a controller, way more than anything, but also I love the fact that they’re finally getting these, and the fact that they have motion control on them makes the controller that much more useful to me.
The motion controller on the new PS4 is actually a great improvement over the controller on the Xbox One. I do love the fact that I can hit the ‘arrow keys’ with my own hands, but I do also find myself using my controller more than I have in a very long time.
I don’t know if the motion controller system on the PS4 is as good as the controller on the Xbox One, but I have a feeling it’s definitely a step up from the controller on the 360. I don’t know why you would need a controller when you can just use the motion controller, but I have been using my new PS4 motion controller for the last several weeks, and it has been a lot more comfortable to be using than the 360 controller.

We are also excited that the motion controller is now compatible with the PS4’s new controller port. With the port being just a few years old now, it makes perfect sense that this would come in handy.
It should come as no surprise that Sony is making a motion controller for the PS4 just in time for the holiday season. After all, it’s been nearly a year since we’ve seen a motion controller come to a PS one, so it would make perfect sense that Sony would put one in the console as soon as the holidays rolled around.
The motion controller that Sony is making for the PS4 is called the Move, and it is a very similar controller to the one we saw in E3. It has two buttons, the shoulder buttons, and a trigger. Unfortunately, the motion controller we are seeing in E3 has a very different interface. It is a “traditional” controller, and it has a button that controls how far the controller is held.
Like every other controller on the market, the motion controller has a standard shoulder button that controls how far the player can hold the controller. So you cannot hold the motion controller with the right arm. It is similar to the buttons on the Xbox One controller, just on a much smaller scale.
The motion controller is great for a number of reasons, but the one thing it does not have is any kind of “gamepad” button. That means you cannot play any kind of game with the motion controller. This does not matter for shooters, but it will be an issue when you need to play games with a controller.
When you do need to play games with a controller, there are a few gamepads that are specifically designed for this purpose. Xbox One and PC games are designed to include a gamepad in the controller. Unfortunately that does not include a motion controller in the box. As such, we are asking you to please try this for yourself: Buy a motion controller.
