This is the most common problem I hear from contractors. You may have a problem with your bank account, but it’s the same for any other service that you use (Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Amazon, etc.).
There are a multitude of reasons as to why your transactions may be delayed. One of the most common causes is that your bank transfers to another bank account may have been approved, but it may have been rejected by your current bank for some reason. In that case, you will need to wait for that new bank to approve your transaction.
Yes, that’s right. That’s what my bank is doing, and I’m not happy with it. The reason for the delay is that it takes a while to process transactions involving my bank account. If I have any questions about what’s going on I can try to send them to my bank, but if I just want to make a transaction I can just call the bank and ask them to approve it.
The whole thing with vbucks is that unlike debit cards, no transaction is sent from your account to the bank until your bank approves it. You can’t just make a withdrawal with a debit card, but you can still use it to make a transaction. So after you’ve approved the transaction, you can send all your funds to the bank, but the bank is not able to send the money until your application for a vbucks is approved by the bank.
My bank recently started displaying vbucks, but they are not showing up on my paypal account. Ive been trying to track down the problem, but I cant figure out why the paypal account doesnt show up on my account. It seems like paypal should be able to see the vbucks, but that it does not. Ive had to do a ton of requests to the paypal account, but nothing has worked.
The issue seems to be that your paypal account isn’t sending the funds to your bank until you send in the correct details. For example, my Paypal account is sending the money to my bank but it is not showing up there.
I cant believe i have to say this, but if paypal cant see the vbucks… then i will be going nuts.
You can also use a merchant account for Vbucks. These are account numbers you create that link to your bank account, and they give you Vbucks. The amount you send in at your bank account is what your vbucks shows up to be.

It’s quite normal that a payment processor won’t be able to see your current vbucks, but it isn’t necessarily a sign that your account is in trouble. It could be that one of the merchants on your account has been hacked, or it could be that the payment processor is not accepting the Vbucks on the account.
